Gina Rose, RN, CWOCN

I cannot begin to tell you how much I appreciate Gina Rose and the work that she does. She is worth her weight in Gold! I have had patients come in with so many wounds that I did not know where to begin. I would call Gina and she would come to the unit and assist with the assessment and care of the patient’s wounds. Of recent, we have had a patient on 2 west with horrific abdominal excoriation, due to a leaking ileostomy. This patient suffered from this situation for over a month. Her abdomen was “on fire!”

Gina worked with the patient, and staff, trying to manage this ostomy. The patient’s abdomen was so bad, and she had an inverted ostomy that you could not keep the bag on, or keep the drainage from running out, further burning her skin. Last weekend, Gina came in on her birthday, and on her day off, to care for this patient. This RN is amazing, and dedicated, to helping her patients and helping the staff. She is truly a DAISY!
