Gina Sivula, Registered Nurse

My Grandpa is currently hospitalized and Gina was his nurse all weekend. Gina became concerned with a lab result that did not seem accurate, so she trusted her gut and didn't give him his Coumadin because he started to bleed. She stuck by his side all night, and questioned the doctor in the morning if the labs were accurate. Fortunately, the doctor listened to her and had the lab recheck his result, and it turned out that the result was not accurate. If it was not for Gina, the other nurses and the doctors may not have noticed the error. I am very thankful Gina was my Grandpa's nurse.
