I would like to recognize Gina. Not only did she always contact me about my father, but she is also a true definition of a nurse. She is the type of person who became a nurse for all the right reasons. My father loves the outdoors, and although he is not coherent, I wanted to bring him outside one last time. I asked Gina if this was a possibility. Gina made it possible for my father to have one last day outside. Without Gina, this would not have been a reality. She helped give a dying man some peace, as well as a grieving daughter. She has been here every day listening to me and caring for dad.
I can never repay her for the kindness and care she has shown my father and my family. She deserves recognition not only for being an amazing nurse but for the human being she is. Thank you, Gina.
