Gina Warfield, LPN, was nominated by her leader. Gina and another nurse jumped in immediately to manage an emergent medical emergency involving the father of a pediatric patient while in the office. The patient's father was transported to a higher level of care for surgery, while Gina kept the pediatric patient safe while waiting for the child's mom to pick up the child from the office.
