Ginette Mutombo, RN

Ginette was pulled to our unit and given a patient who had just been placed on comfort care an hour after she arrived. The patient was becoming uncomfortable, anxious, and not feeling well. Ginette took the time to sit with him, hold his hand, play calming music, and simply make sure he did not feel alone. Her kindness went beyond her assignment and truly showed how compassionate she is! Watching her do this really touched me and reminded me how powerful a nurse’s presence can be.
