Ginger is well known to many for being very kind and well respected. Ginger was the nurse who was taking care of a terminal patient that had been declared a comfort care patient. This patient was a family member of the nurse who nominated Ginger. This nurse had been so sad watching her family member's condition decline. Ginger decided to help create a special moment for her fellow colleague. She called this patient's family member who was at home and showed her a face time video of the patient awake and talking. The family member was so excited to see her loved one awake and smiling. Ginger stayed with the patient until the family could arrive at his bedside. Ginger takes time out of the day often to go above the norm.
