Ginny reached out to different sources trying to find a resolution to this patient’s problem.
Ginny has always gone the extra mile for her patients. Just recently, she again went above and beyond for a patient. While conducting a follow-up phone call with a patient that had been discharged from the ED with COVID-19, Ginny learned that this patient was having problems monitoring her O2 saturation. The pulse oximeter that had been provided to her for home monitoring was not functioning correctly. Ginny reached out to different sources trying to find a resolution to this patient’s problem. No one was able to help. Ginny persisted and she was able to get a new replacement pulse oximeter. She personally delivered it to this patient’s home. The patient was extremely grateful. The commitment to help this patient most certainly prevented readmission. Ginny is a dedicated Amita Resurrection Nurse.
