She was extra kind to my son M when he came in for surgery a week after having a meniscus “MACI” repair/transplant. She listened to his complaints and concerns and addressed each and every one of them. She explained everything that was done prior to doing the task and even stayed behind to give me encouragement! She made the whole stressful process so much better. When we came back 5 days later….yes, back to the OR for the 3rd time in two weeks. We saw Ginny and she immediately came to our room concerned about why we were back and jumped right in although she was very busy and helped to get him settled in, without overstepping her boundaries with the assigned nurse. I could see my son’s face relax when she came into the room. It’s amazing to be blessed with a nurse like Ginny, not just once but twice. She displays the qualities of an excellent nurse with great performance, kindness, and talent. She definitely deserves the DAISY Award. She made my son’s face light up like someone gave him a bouquet of Daisies!!
