I would like to nominate Ginny Parsons for the DAISY Award for the extraordinary compassion and dedication she showed my husband and me during a very difficult time. 

While my husband was admitted to the hospital, he became acutely confused and agitated due to his illness. It was an incredibly stressful and heartbreaking experience to see him so disoriented. I was exhausted, overwhelmed, and unsure of how to comfort him. That's when Ginny stepped in with the kindest heart and the most reassuring presence.

She took the time to sit with my husband, gently speaking to him, holding his hand, and reassuring him when he seemed lost and scared. She remained patient, calm, and compassionate, helping him feel safe even when he was confused. She made sure I had a moment to rest, ensuring me that my husband was in good hands. Her presence was a source of comfort for both of us, and I truly don't know how I would have gotten through that night without her. 

Ginny went above just providing medical care - she provided humanity, warmth, and support during one of the hardest moments of our lives. She exemplifies what it means to be a nurse, and I am forever grateful for her kindness.

I wholeheartedly believe she deserves the DAISY Award for the incredible difference she made for our family.
