It has been a long time since I was at the hospital and every time I go to toss old paper work I cannot bring myself to throw this away. Although I would like to forget this awful time in my life I often remember the sincere, kind and beautiful nurse that cared for me that day. She was the ONLY nurse that smiled, made eye contact and spoke to me as though I were a person not just an ailment passing through.

I will never forget the restorative power that Gizzelle gave me. I often remember her; not very tall, long dark hair, a beautiful smile, engaging personality, and healing power. I think she should be honored and recognized because she is a giant among nursing.
