For the past 2.5 months, my daughter has had a string of viral illnesses and ear infections. She's now on her 5th antibiotic while waiting for ear tubes. Every time we come into the office to see the doctor, Bime is the nurse. She is always calm and upbeat and never seems stressed or bothered by my daughter's crying or irritability. She treats my daughter very sweetly. It has been frustrating for me as the mother because she has been so sick, and we have been in and out of the office several times. I really appreciated the way that Bime validated my frustrations and sympathized with me. In our last encounter, my daughter needed a flu and strep test. When Bime was doing the strep test, my daughter vomited. Bime, true to her nature, was calm, attentive, and sweet. She acted like it wasn't gross and apologized for making my daughter vomit (kind of my fault as I gave her a bunch of water in the waiting room). Bime went and got towels for me to clean up with and for my daughter. She re-swabbed my daughter after she calmed down. I really appreciate her professionalism, warm demeanor, and passion for taking care of sick kids (I wouldn't have the patience for it!). She was meant to be a pediatric nurse.
