April 2018 Honoree
gladys boltron, RN, BSN
K is our baby and has been diagnosed with ulcerative colitis just like his older sister. Although he is familiar with what goes along with this disease, his first time staying in the hospital was still a scary one. But thanks to Gladys Boltron he felt, as he said, "Lucky to have her as his nurse," because "she makes me feel happy and safe." K is only 7 years old, so the fact that he felt safe with Gladys means the world to us.
Thank you, Gladys, for being so caring and we wish you the best in life. Keep up the great work...your patients are lucky to have you!
