The first encounter I had with Gladys was now ironic, as she came across as a little stickler for the rules. I definitely got the wrong impression of her. Over the course of the next couple of days, I discovered what a treasure she actually is; not only did she make sure to explain everything about my care, she took time to make sure to explain everything about my care, she took time to make sure to explain everything about my care to me, she took time to also talk to me about ways to help me make my overall health better as well as my life. This woman goes above and beyond her job duties to make sure people are not only cared for here but also gives of herself to help enrich their lives after their stay here. She went on vacation after her second day of helping me. I wish I could have had another day for her to impact more of her wisdom into me. Thank you, Gladys!

She has an awesome bedside manner. She really makes you feel like you are in the best care, and she explains everything, from your care and procedure to meds and more. Nurses need to follow her lead.

From the moment we entered the hospital room, Gladys was incredibly kind, patient, and caring. She went above and beyond to help when I needed anything. Gladys made me feel welcome and well taken care of.

I felt like I received great care. Gladys was exceptional, and I really want to make sure she is recognized because she was so kind and thoughtful. She always made sure I received my meals on time and that I always had the things I needed to make me comfortable.
