Gladys Gutierrez, RN

Gladys did an excellent job of providing care for me while I was a patient. She was always checking on me to see how I was feeling even with her busy schedule. She was always on the run. The main reason I'm nominating her for this award is because she went above and beyond and did a sputum culture for my pneumonia. It iurns out that I have MRSA. If she hadn't done the culture, I wouldn't have known and could have even died. So now I have the correct antibiotics to fight this infection. I owe her my life and want her to know how much I appreciate her.
