I was struggling with guilt and blame for overlooking an injury to my right foot due to Diabetic Neuropathy. I shared this with my RN Gladys. I was amazed by her compassion. She shared her positive opinion and related her own personal experience. I felt as if I was sharing trust with a friend. Most importantly, I was here now and attending to my health. I felt kindness from this lady and now focused on what was important, my life, and my health.
Gladys was such a kind nurse. She shared stories, cared for my needs, and truly made time to connect to me as a patient, which I appreciated during this painful and challenging recovery. She was always so happy and positive, and I truly appreciated all her work and dedication.
