Glenda Avery, RN

Glenda embodies what it means to be a nurse in every way. She is compassionate towards patients and advocates for them. She is intelligent and competent in her field. Her colleagues, both nurses, and providers trust her judgment and she uses her knowledge to keep patients safe and give an excellent level of care.

She always goes the extra mile on her unit and on other units. She will answer questions and assist in any way possible. When I’m working and I know she is working, I know without a doubt that I can count on her as the team that is behind me. If there ever was a nurse deserving of this recognition, it is Glenda.
