August 2022 Honoree
Gleniece Bennett-Lewis, RN
The first time I saw my special nurse she was preparing an enema for me. I was scared to a frizzle and she soothingly told me I would feel much better. The fact was this was the first time ever I had this problem. Always careful, I ate right. I was two weeks away from being 80 years old and was planning to get with my family in Myrtle Beach, SC! I didn't want to disappoint my family. I was feeling better after the procedure was done. Thanks to this very kind nurse! About two weeks later I was back with instructions to follow my doctor's orders. And was still very sore, but with the help and suggestions of this special ER nurse, I was on the mend. I was thankful she was the same nurse I had before because I was in a state of soreness and mentally confused and had dizzy spells. I was given medication by my doctors who reduce my blood thinner and am healing up nicely. Thank you Gleniece.
Thank you, Gleniece, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
