As I watched Glenn do his job, I could clearly see he was different from every other nurse I had seen in the past 10+ days. The way he talked to my brother as he did his work. The way he was gentle while handling him and the way he communicated with us was unlike any other nurse. When I tried to compliment Glenn, he said he was simply doing his job. I could go on and on, but there isn't enough room to write.

As shift change quickly approached, I asked Glenn if he had ever seen someone improve in my brother's condition. He took off his face mask and had a real conversation with me. He was open and honest, and probably spent more time with me than he actually had to spare. He was compassionate, empathetic, and honest. He knows my brother's story, and I know some of Glenn's now too. Glenn explained things to me in a way I hadn't heard the whole time I was here. I will never forget the care he provided to my brother and my family.
