Glinda has been amazing. I have been in and out of the hospital for 3 months. She has been my day nurse. Glinda gives me all her attention when she's in my room. I started to have really bad depression, and she listened, which was the most important thing she could do for me. She is always on time with my pain meds, which is important because my kidney pain is extreme, but again, the most important thing is that she advocated for me and did what she could to make sure I was comfortable. Her care for me made me feel like I was her mom or any family member, and I think nurses like her should be acknowledged. My pain meds are keeping me from being more eloquent, but I love Ms. Glinda, and there need to be more nurses like her.
