Gloria has more energy than the energizer bunny. Most likely to help with literally any case. Trained more RNs to circulate, monitor and become successful in the Cath Lab.... Whatever nickname you want to use, she will respond!! That's GLORIA!! Never have I been in a nursing unit where I witnessed more support from a nursing supervisor. She is passionate about the care we deliver, the patients we serve, and the unit she runs. Her bounding spirit and her daily bursts of "Chaka Kahn" are why we have such amazing staff who want to follow her lead and do great things every day!! She sets the most perfect examples of what leadership, commitment, best practice, and nursing are all about. And being an amazing water drinker and doing "her steps" every day just adds more icing to this perfect cake!! On what will be her final few months doing amazing things for both this hospital and our service area, I would LOVE for this exceptional nurse leader to know that she has set the bar very, very, high and we are honored to work with her every day!!
