I first met Gloria when my daughter went into labor. I asked her how long she has been doing this due to her knowledge and caring, compassionate ways. She said 29 years and I still love doing it! To us it really showed, too! We asked her lots of questions and she answered them. We had problems with the pain pump and she fixed it with a new one! We used the call light a few times and Gloria was there for us. Gloria was great at explaining the monitors to us. She was comforting to us with all of her knowledge and years on the job. She was lighthearted and was a great motivator when my daughter was pushing the baby out! The next day Gloria wasn't my daughter's nurse but she stopped in to check on us with a smile and her caring ways. A nurse with knowledge and compassion is worth her weight in gold so make Gloria shine she deserves it!
