Comments from patients and coworkers about Gloria:
“Gloria, the PICC nurse was extremely proficient and showed expertise when installing my PICC line.”
“I had 4 or 5 IVs total because my veins kept collapsing. I ended up getting a PICC line and Gloria was fantastic!”
“Gloria is a pleasure to work with and is always willing to stay after her shift if a patient needs an IV/PICC line. Recently, she stayed after midnight when her scheduled shift ended at 1930 to place multiple lines on a patient in Critical Care. Because of this, the patient received critical treatment that they wouldn’t have been able to receive without a PICC line.”
To be named on multiple patient satisfaction surveys is a real tribute to her, as she is generally with patients for an hour or less during their entire hospitalization.
