Gloria is the perfect example of a great nurse who doesn't "just do" her job. She takes care of people ensuring their safety, comfort, and overall well-being. She does so with such great care, dedication, knowledge, and most importantly compassion. From the time she introduced herself to the time of my discharge, she has made me feel truly cared for. She explained in detail and step-by-step everything in relation to my recovery process; in which she made me feel truly comfortable and at ease knowing I was in the best hands. My experience here at UH is a great example of truly meeting the goal of providing excellent care and service and it is thanks to her. I am truly grateful to her for treating me as her patient but most importantly as a human being "like family."
