Gloria helped nurse colleagues in the adult Surgical ICU when they had a difficult situation with a patient who came to the Surgical ICU after emergency surgery after a miscarriage. Gloria came to the Surgical ICU and helped the nurses dress and footprint the 16 week fetus. It was Gloria's kindness and respect for the mother and grandmother as well as guiding her peers through this difficult process, that she was recognized with this DAISY Award.
