Glynda Meadows is the definition of a compassionate nurse. She comes in bright and early every morning with a smile on her face. She does everything she can to better the patients' outcome by working hand-in-hand with the nurses, doctors, families, and social workers, patients, and nursing homes, hospice houses, and everyone involved in care.

She is so caring, compassionate, sweet, loving, knowledgeable, and helpful. She not only helps the nurses, but helps the patients in ways they will never forget. I have seen her cry with families as well as laugh with families at the bedside. She takes time to talk to each patient and/or family to make the best medical decision for them.

I recently had an elderly man in SICU that had no family and Glynda went out of her way to track down a distant relative to help make medical decisions.

Glynda becomes very close and connects with her patients. She talks to all of the doctors and makes sure they get in to see the patients. This is what she does on a daily basis.

Glynda has such a caring heart and shares it with everyone every day. She is an extraordinary nurse and person and is a joy to work with.
