Dr. Cullen is committed to providing excellent service in all that she does and is an example to others.
I have had the pleasure of interacting with Grace on several occasions and have witnessed her passion for her work. As a provider and preceptor, Dr. Cullen always embodies the ICARE principles through her commitment to compassion and dedication to providing quality care to the veterans through evidence-based practice projects and research that benefits the veteran population. She is very professional, and honest, and has strong moral principles that translate through her interaction with patients and colleagues. She always gives 110 percent regardless of the situation- big or small. She is approachable and makes herself available to assist where needed. Dr. Cullen is committed to providing excellent service in all that she does and is an example to others. Not only does she embody the ICARE principles through her work ethic and dedication, but she does it with integrity by respecting all those she encounters regardless of who they are or their background. I nominate Dr. Grace Cullen for this award not only because I am thankful for all she has done to assist veterans; her dedication to the mission of the VA; and her consistently demonstrating the ICARE principles. Grace is an ambassador in my eyes for the Detroit VA Hospital.
