Our daughter K recently spent 2 and a half days in the special care nursery. All of the nurses we encountered were wonderful but Grace really stood out from the rest. She was K's nurse for 2 of the 3 nights she was there and was always so personable and kind. She made it a point to ask how we were doing and if we had gotten any rest that day. She always advocated for K and brought up our concerns to the doctor. She took a lot of time to explain our options to us and that really made us trust her. You can easily tell how much she cares about her patients and will do whatever it takes to get them the best care possible. When I thought I wouldn't be able to leave K's side the whole time she was hospitalized, Grace made me feel confident in leaving for a few hours to get some sleep. She truly is an exceptional nurse.
