Amazing and humble, there are no other words that describe this nurse. Grace made me feel like I was her family member as she took such great, kind and compassionate care of me and my newborn.
I delivered in 2015 and soon after delivery Grace took my son and said I would see him shortly. It was soon after I was told that my baby was not well and I wanted to see him after hearing this news. Grace came with me to see my son and helped me stand up and gently stroked my hair as I visited my baby. I feel this is the way she would have treated one of her own family members. She was attentive and did not leave my side.
Over the past 3 years, my son has been hospitalized a few times and has still has health issues today. One thing that remains constant is I have never forgotten my nurse who took such good care of me and my son. In October of 2018, I decided to find out if she still worked at Trinitas and I came to see her. I asked if she remembered me and she said yes, and she also remembered my son.
Grace does not realize what a big part of my life she is, and I pray for her. I am thankful that God let her be my nurse during this difficult time in my life.
