We had your amazing transport team pick our young son up from another hospital and transport him to Mary Bridge. My son’s whole team was AMAZING but Grace did anything and everything for not only our boy but for my wife and me also. You can tell she’s definitely not in the nursing profession for the money but to truly help anyone and everyone. She paid so much attention to detail in his care and went and found sneaky ways to get our boy to take his meds. She was the only one our boy would really listen to when they would say take your meds etc. All we had to do once we got home was tell him we would call Grace so she could tell him to take his medicine but he actually fell for it and waited for us to call her and we didn’t even have her number. He even decided that if he didn’t take his meds then he would be sent back to Mary Bridge and he would be able to see Grace again. The night before we were discharged, Grace was able to move us to a larger room so my wife and I could both fit in the room and have a place to sleep as we are from over on the coast and couldn’t really just drive home nightly, etc. I just really want to thank Grace from the bottom of our hearts for all the love and care you not only showed our boy but my wife and I as well. He is looking forward to starting 1st grade, and he can’t wait to share his amazing experience at Mary Bridge Hospital and his time spent with the most amazing, caring, thoughtful nurse on this earth, Grace! You will never ever be forgotten by us.
