Grace Richmond comes to work every day thinking of only the Veterans that she helps every day; she's always late coming out to the Vanpool to go home because a patient has to have surgery and she wants to make sure that the doctors have everything they need. Grace is so dedicated to the patients that she goes home and never turns off her phone because it never stops ringing with some type of question from her peers that need to be taken care of right away. She is such a great Nurse to have on your staff because her patients come before her lunch breaks; even her husband told me once that she loves her job more than him that he has to make an appointment to spend time with her. When she comes out to the van patients are sitting outside saying good-bye Mrs. Richmond and we tease her about "how many boyfriends do you have?" and she just laughs and says "all of them". She is such a nice and caring person and she deserves this award more than anyone.
