My husband and I are so happy to have met and been under Grace's care. She is amazing!
Grace is amazing. She personifies all the traits you want in a nurse. She cares, she listens, she is respectful, and she is just a joy to have as a nurse. In the case of my husband, she was the one that listened, and through listening, she enabled us to understand what happened.
My husband had eight-plus expert doctors come in and talk. They all were told the answer, but none listened like Grace.
And when Grace listened, things became clearer and clearer. When Grace listened without pre-conceptions, we all learned. Turns out what was wrong was a simple drug interaction with textbook symptoms. She looked up the two medications for interactions, and there, listed before her were the exact symptoms that up to that point, every doctor called a gastrointestinal bleed. While not wrong, it's not helpful. Why is he bleeding? How is it going to stop? What's next? Well, the answer is, don't take those medications together ever again.
