From the moment I met Graciely, she gave my daughter and I a feeling of warmth and love. We were very scared to be in the hospital, especially on Christmas Eve and into Christmas week. I know I was not taking care of myself.
One night I was very sick. I was alone taking care of my daughter who was extremely sick. I was having a bit of a shut down in the middle of the night. Graciely recognized this and knew that I also needed care. Gracie and another nurse made me hot chocolate and brought me a donut. They also filled a couple of tubs of hot soapy water and had me soak my feet. This was all happening at 2-3 AM! Graciely knew that although her job was to care for my daughter, mama needed someone that night. That kind of care comes from a place of true human love/kindness. Since that night, we were fortunate to have Graciely a couple more shifts. She truly felt like an old trusted friend. Thank you, Graciely!
