Grazie Mendes, RN

My husband was admitted with sepsis and kidney failure after having a hip replacement 12 days prior. Grazie always explained medical terms and situations related to his care to us. Her compassion is amazing, and she loves hugs. We had personal connections because she shared her life, and we could laugh when we found out she and my husband both liked dark, black coffee! But, what was amazing was that both days she walked the floor with him, with a walker, AFTER she was off duty because there wasn't time during a busy, busy time on duty. Grazie said, "She sleeps better knowing she has helped her patients." She was always smiling and loves her job. She goes the extra mile!
