We were discharging an 80-year-old patient who had been difficult throughout his stay. The patient was brought to the lobby with no transportation arranged. As Greg was leaving, on his birthday no less, he noticed that no one had coordinated this patient's transportation.

 Instead of leaving this for someone else, Greg stayed late to arrange transportation, saying, "This patient is someone's father and loved one. We can't just leave him in the lobby for someone else to figure out."

This is who Greg is, going above and beyond for staff and patients.
