Everything happened so fast, one day I was at work venting to Gregg about a CT I received that morning, and the next I was texting him that I was admitted to the hospital. Gregg has always known my struggles with my Crohn’s Disease, so when I told him I was at PL as an inpatient, he started praying for me immediately. Somehow his support and encouraging words made me less scared about the unknown at that time.

The very next day was Saturday, Gregg and his wife L came to visit. L held my hand and gave me warm hugs, and we all started to engage in conversation, Gregg noticed my IV site was swollen, and of course it was causing me lots of pain. Just like the amazing leader he is, he got on the phone, and M came from the ICU within minutes. Some time had passed, and I couldn’t seem to keep a working IV, attempts were made, and at the end, it was Gregg who stepped in and did it himself, I was able to move forward with my 2nd procedure that day without becoming an unruly patient (lol).

I can’t say enough how grateful I am to know such an amazing human being, having Gregg as a co-worker and friend adds such value to my life. I really can’t sing his praises enough. Gregg is the kindest loving person you will ever meet; he has a calming spirit that is very hard to find. MH PL is so lucky to have him, and I feel blessed I get to enjoy his smile daily.

Thank you, Gregg, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
