Back in July 2025, I was admitted by my oncologist for a complete evaluation, including possible heart failure. I had so many different doctors running in and out that my wife and I were overwhelmed. Greg was the floor nurse and not only took excellent care of me but also took the time to help me understand the “so what” of what all the different doctors were saying and the meds they were ordering. He was in every way my advocate and voice of challenge when needed.

This time, in Nov 2025, he was again serving wherever needed, so he filled in for another nurse as a floor nurse. Applying his oncology RN background, he very much helped me/us to understand the treatment/recovery meds I was receiving. His overall caring and concern was most evident and appreciated. Another example of always putting patients first: my Oncology doctor told me no fresh fruits or vegetables. My supper was a hamburger with lettuce, tomato, and onion, which I couldn’t eat. Greg stepped in and, despite the revised dietary policy, directed them to bring a plain hamburger to my room. His priority was clearly stated when he said: “We all (Drs., Nurses, Dietary) work for you”; that sums up his foundational value.

Thank you, Gregory, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
