No matter what state my dad was in, Greg maintained a level of calm, patience, and friendliness that resonated with each of us.
My dad was admitted to the ICU due to an issue with prescribed medication that gave him an altered mental state with periods of agitation. Greg was his day shift nurse for three days. We were impressed at the excellent care Greg provided. Every time he interacted with my dad, no matter what state my dad was in, Greg maintained a level of calm, patience, and friendliness that resonated with each of us. My dad had multiple instances of agitation, some of which became incredibly aggressive, but Greg remained focused and continually provided an incredibly high level of care. When the episodes were over, he always checked in on my mother and me to make sure we were ok and then explained the steps he took to de-escalate the situation. My dad snapped out of it towards the end of Greg's shift and was very apologetic. We very much appreciated how Greg maintained the same level of professionalism, caring, and excellence that he demonstrated throughout Dad's entire stay.
