My husband was experiencing an unexpected heart attack. It was a scary time. Gregory took care of him on his last day there, and wow, what an amazing, caring, knowledgeable man! Very compassionate! He made us feel like we were the only one there. He explained everything in detail so we could understand the medicines and the procedures, and he helped us comprehend what my husband had just gone through. He made sure we knew what to do if the artery bleed. What to do when we got home.

The hospital would be a better place if they were filled with more Mr. Shearer. He made us feel very confident. He talked to us and made us feel not so scared. He always checked on us. My daughter is going to nursing school, and I can only hope she loves her job and helps people like this man! I want to recognize him for his outstanding mannerism and professionalism. The love of his work shows! I do believe the nurse in charge said, "Every floor has a nurse mom, well we have a nurse Dad." I want him to know that we appreciate all his support and concern for my husband!
