It is hard to find a silver lining in situations entailing loss and grief. The week of my mother’s critical illness, I was destroyed emotionally and mentally. Greg’s devotion, dedication, support, and compassion were a silver lining throughout this otherwise painful and sorrowful experience. I watched as he worked tirelessly with little to no breaks, taking care of my mom and never leaving her side. By the time he was assigned to my mother, she had already had her surgery and was not fully aware. Had she been awake and conscious, she would have loved Greg and thanked him for everything. Thank you, Greg, on behalf of my family and my mother.
