Greta received a call on the unit regarding left-behind items belonging to the patient. This patient did not have an accessible way back up to the hospital to retrieve these items. This nurse took it upon herself to return the items to the rightful owner at their home. This is just one example of how she goes above and beyond. When a patient has a celebration, she will go downstairs and purchase a balloon and card for all the staff to sign and present to the patient. She is known for going the extra mile, leading the unit, and assisting the nurses and ancillary techs to provide the best care for our population.
