My mother was a patient in the ICU and Ms. Gonzalez RN was my mother's nurse. When she came into my mother's room she did her patient assessment each morning. She would ask my mother to squeeze her fingers, push her toes back, etc. Ms. Gonzalez wiped down the machines that were in her room. No one else has done that in all the times my mother has been a patient in the hospital. Ms. Gonzalez took time with me when I got upset when my mother wasn't feeling well. She gave me a much-needed hug. Ms. Gonzalez took her time and explained everything to me. She made me feel like my mother and I were the only people she had to talk to and care for. My mother complained of her buttocks hurting and being uncomfortable, Ms. Gonzalez used the bed to assist my mother getting comfortable, she made the bed into a chair and stayed with her until she was comfortable. Where did you find such a wonderful, caring, compassionate, patient, thorough, kind, respectful, professional person, and nurse? She went above and beyond the requirements of her job. Her personality showed through. Thank you for hiring her.
