Gretchen Hartnell, RN

I am nominating Gretchen because I have personally worked with her for 3+ years now, and she is an outstanding nurse. Not only is she a great nurse to all her patients, but I myself was recently a patient in the cath lab, and she came in on her off day to make sure I was okay and to assist with my care. It was a very scary time for me as my first experience in the cath lab, and she took every measure possible to make sure I was comfortable and at ease. She did not have to come in on one of her few off days, but she did because she knew I was scared and wanted to be there for me. She is also known to deeply care about all other vascular patients that she cares for before, during, and after procedures. I am so thankful to know a nurse like Gretchen!
