No one wants to be in the hospital swollen from chemo side effects and radiation burns on 3 parts of their body. Unfortunately, that happened to me. I arrived in the evening. I had different nurses throughout my time here who were friendly but then came the morning that I had Guadalupe. I was in tears from the pain I was in. She saw how much pain I was in and immediately went and got my pain meds. She asked if I needed anything else but I was still in so much pain I couldn't talk. She just knew I needed water. She always made me feel like I was the only patient she had. She spent as much time as I needed for anything. If I needed help getting out of bed, finding something I lost in the bed, everything. If you could make copies of her, I would absolutely take her home with me. It's like she knew when I was going to need help. She would come in before I ever got a cord to call. Amazing, Fantastic, Caring, Supportive, Helpful. Anything and everything positive to be said about her, too many to keep listing. Personable, Incredible, Awesome, Kind-hearted, Thoughtful, Marvelous, Wonderful.

My daughter's nurses have all been great, but this nurse is an extremely outstanding nurse. She was very caring and understood when my daughter was in extreme pain. She was able to her lift her spirits by coming into her room each and every time with a great smile. I can see that she is an outstanding person who cares. This was my daughter's birthday and everyone celebrated it.

My father was admitted after being diagnosed with a perforated bowel. He knew and accepted that this was his final journey. From the moment he was in his room through his final breath, every single person on the nursing staff and the hospice staff was nothing short of attentive, caring, understanding, and just amazing. Guadalupe was an excellent nurse but it went far beyond her caretaking abilities. She explained things, was patient, answered all our questions, was knowledgeable and was truly there to help the patient. She treated my father with dignity, and yet could also smile and make jokes. She made recommendations if we asked, and once, when my dad woke up confused and agitated, she patiently worked with him to calm his fears and help him relax. She brought a smile to our day and we could completely relax while she was there. Thank you for making the final journey more bearable. I could not have wished for a better experience in this long and difficult time for our family. Thank you.
