Guadalupe was so helpful, kind, and compassionate the night my wife was transferred from the ER to her room. My wife was so scared and feeling very ill after having a Jackson-Pratt device installed onto her ruptured appendix. My wife is very sensitive to medication and tends to get ill easily. Between the Morphine, antibiotics, potassium, and magnesium it was difficult for her to keep anything down. Guadalupe was very kind and assisted my wife throughout the night and made her as comfortable as she could. She was very thorough and made sure to monitor her vitals and fluids to avoid dehydration. She also brought ice packs and popsicles as needed. This nurse always remained calm which helped my wife’s nervousness. I really admire nurses like her…they know their craft but also show empathy toward their patients. Thank you and all the best!
