January 2021 Honoree
guiana goble, RN
Guiana displayed extraordinary compassion and care for my patient. I initially saw the patient on a Friday for a fractured arm, then on Monday his hands looked as dirty as they did on Friday. Guiana took the time to trim all of his nails and gently scrubbed his hands clean before he ate his meal. The gentleman had congenital deafness without support beyond the basics, so his hands are very important and his way of communicating with people. Her attentiveness to his hands filled his eyes with tears and put a smile on his face, the first I had seen during his hospital stay. His expression was one of great appreciation for her service.
Thank you, Guiana, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
