Nurse Guido cared for my father prior to his passing. Guido was the nurse to inform me my father was going to pass. He was also by my Dad’s side prior to his final days and during. Guido shared in my family’s sadness in the way in which he allowed himself to be vulnerable, and how he went above and beyond to comfort us. He not only took outstanding care of my father, but he took outstanding care of my sister and me as we spent my father’s final days with him at the hospital. He is a face and soul I will never ever forget.

From going out of his way to get me a decaf coffee on his own from Starbucks, to holding my father’s wound so he didn’t bleed out, to having the most caring heart and compassion during one of the hardest moments, my family and I thank him for his outstanding medical care and support. He will forever be in our hearts and memories as we remember our final days with our Father. Thank you, Nurse Guido.
