Gus took care of my mom. She had pelvic fractures and was screaming and hollering for two solid days. If she wasn't asleep, she was screaming. Gus was so patient and kind with her. He coordinated with doctors and worked to get her medicine changed that would help calm her down. He was genuinely concerned and compassionate. Mama had gotten to the point where she would calm down when Gus walked into the room.

My brothers also spoke very highly of Gus. He had my mom for a few days, and then he had a day off. He came and checked on my mom on his day off! He even found the therapist, who hadn't seen my mom yet, and gave him the rundown on my mom. His compassion and kindness are hard to find. It was discovered that my mom had some strokes. We appreciate his diligence in her well-being. I would love to see his face on that “green” wall, my entire family would!
