Gwen has been much more than a nurse for our beloved D. She has helped us through one of the toughest times we have had to fare as a family. She assured us there were no wrong decisions to be made at a time like this and we had done everything right along the way. Whether it was sharing info we desperately needed to hear or just a simple hug or reassuring smile. She certainly is the definition of a compassionate nurse and we were blessed to have her caring for D if only for a short time. Gwen is an extraordinary nurse and is very deserving of this award.
