gwen herder, RN, OCN

Gwen Herder is an excellent nurse that is extremely caring and hard working. One day she came in to pick up medications at the outpatient pharmacy for her son. She found a patient in the parking lot, vomiting and needing help. Gwen brought her in to the cancer center, cleaned her up and called the Healing Center from where she was discharged. They were unable to see the patient, so Gwen put her in a wheel chair and took her to the emergency room for evaluation. The patient stated how much Gwen helped her that day. She said she didn't know how to get help and Gwen went above and beyond on her day off of work. She and her family were extremely grateful.
