Gwendolyn Frey, BSN, RN, CNOR

Gwen began her employment at LCMH as a student aide in 1970. She has been a staff RN since May of 1970. In her early career, she was an OB nurse. In 1982 she began working in the OR. Gwen also worked prn at West Calcasieu Cameron Hospital in the OB department for 25 years and 10 years in geriatric care and emergency nursing at South Cameron Hospital. Her favorite memories are of the people who taught her as a new nurse; two who were lost in this past year, Corkey Craft and Diane Brocato. She has fond memories of delivering babies together.
